Hammer Strength Iso-Lateral Leg Extension
Plate-loaded leg extension with fully independent arms, so each leg moves and loads on its own. Work both together or run one side at a time — either way, the strong leg can't cover for the weak one, which is exactly what makes iso-lateral machines the tool for fixing imbalances.
HOW TO USE
Set the seat so the pivot lines up with your knee, buckle the belt across your hips, and hook your shins behind the roller pad. Grip the handles, extend both legs until your quads are fully contracted, hold for a beat, then lower under control. Keep your hips down and your back against the pad — if you're lifting off the seat, the weight's too heavy.

INDEPENDENT PLATE LOADING
Each side loads separately, so you can run matched weight, load one leg heavier to bring up a lagging side, or train unilaterally without the machine fighting you.
ADJUSTABLE SEAT
Sets the backrest depth so your knee sits directly on the pivot point. Get this right and the resistance curve matches your leg — get it wrong and you're loading the joint instead of the muscle.
SEAT BELT
Lap belt that locks your hips into the seat so they can't rise on heavy reps, keeping every bit of the load in the quads.
HANDLES
Side grips that anchor your torso and keep your upper body still, so the only thing moving is your knees.
